From the moment we walked through the door we felt at home. The owner had thought of every possible conceivable thing we could need. We ended up making a game out of it to see if we could find anything that was not there for us, but we failed. What a wonderful immaculate holiday cottage.

This cottage is excellent for those who do not do stairs, once you get past the entrance step. Very well equipped, nicely situated in quiet lane and the landlords are friendly and helpful. ASDA is nearby and TESCO will deliver if you order on line. We have stayed two years running and recommend it highly.

This holiday cottage was superb. The owners were very helpful and everything that you could think of was provided, a true home from home. We have a small dog and there were instructions on local walks in the area for the dog and details of pubs that take dogs etc.The cottage is in a great location for the Lakes and the Dales and we truly enjoyed our stay.

Our first holiday cottage and an excellent experience. Equipped with everything you need and clean and spacious. I would certainly recommend it and it is ideal if you are taking a dog as there are some nice walks straight out the door.

We would recommend this holiday. The cottage was fully equipped, comfortable and located in a beautiful peaceful area, but near to shops and local walks. The owners were friendly and welcoming and flowers, wine, milk, tea and coffee greeted us. This was probably the best cottage we have ever stayed in, quite special!

I fully recommend this holiday. The owners, Roger and Christine were extremely friendly and helpful. The scenery around the Lake District is stunning, and there are plenty of things to see and do, or you can simply relax and recharge your batteries. I recommend a trip to Keswick and Lake Windermere whilst you are there - you can also have a really nice meal at the Crooklands Hotel.

I would like to say what a lovely cottage Drumlins is, and quite honestly I think it is the best we have ever stayed in with all the little touches i.e fresh flowers, welcoming drinks etc. A beautifully kept cottage and very friendly and helpful hosts.
